Mid-day Shake Out

Here is to hoping I actually stick to this damn thing. I say that at least once a year. But maybe this time is different. I worked from home all morning and decided to get the legs moving and run up to Bristol Ledge. I haven't been eating hardly anything as of late, and binged today resulting in a very upset stomach the second I put a foot on the ground. I wound up walking a majority of the ascent and descent with some faster running to and from the trailhead. Total it was only about 4 miles, but it was more about getting myself out the door than anything else. After, I picked up a dresser I found on the curb along the way, but more importantly I took my first dip in the river. It was frigid but beautiful and refreshing. Plus saving the water from not having to shower is a bonus.
